It started off as a battle of wits. Me: the ordinary girl with a big mouth against Him: the sexy bastard with a big...ego.

I thought I’d hit the jackpot when I was upgraded to first class on my flight to London.

That is until HE sat down next to me. Gabriel Scott: handsome as sin, cold as ice. Nothing and no one gets to him. Ever. He’s a legend in his own right, the manager of the biggest rock band in the world, and an arrogant ass who looks down his nose at me.

I thought I’d give him hell for one, long flight. I didn’t expect to like him. I didn’t expect to want him. But the biggest surprise? He wants me too. Only in a way I didn’t see coming.

If I accept his proposal, I leave myself open to falling for the one man I can’t manage. But I’m tempted to say yes. Because the real man beneath those perfect suits and that cool façade just might be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I just might be the only one who can melt the ice around his heart.

Let the battle begin…

REVIEW  BLITZ

Managed is the second book in the vip series of author Kristen Callihan and tells the story of Gabriel Scott, the manager of the band Kill John, and that for those who read the first book we know that he became known as the man with the heart of ice .

This book begins with an unusual and funny encounter between the protagonists of this book: Scottie and Sophie. Sophie Darling Thinks this is her lucky day, she won an update for first class in a long flight,But soon she finds that she will have to sit next to Scott who is not even happy to sit next to her, after all he had bought the two seats so that this mistake didn't happen. From that first moment we can see that they are totally opposite people and soon these two are testing the limits of each other, while sophie seems to be unable to shut up, she realizes the fear of Scoot in flying and decides to help him to relax And try to leave your fear aside.

I think the beginning of these two was unusual and allowed to see how different they are, not to mention that I gave a good laugh with these two while they were on the plane. It was a start, troubled, unusual and hilarious.

Sophie is on her way to a great interview and soon she and scott find out that their way will not go their separate ways once they land, on the contrary they will be working together for the biggest rock band. Sophie and scott could not be more different: she is a spirit book, she is a closed person, he doesn't let people enter her life and heart easily, she is a person who is difficult not to like, she is sweet and sassy Where he is hard and reclusive. But you know what they say about the opposites ... right?

One of the highlights of the book for me, was to see Sophie little by little, breaking down the walls Scoot built around her, and watching her pull down her guards and let her (and we) know the real Scoot. And when we meet him we see how amazing, vulnerable and romantic he is. I would say underneath that ice heart, would have an incredible man.

Sophie ended up being exactly whom Scoot needed in his life, to make him happy, a beautiful story between two people who found love in that person who is everything that you are not, but on the other hand everything you needed.

It is a delicious, slow-burn romance And here is the one thing I did not like about this book, I think it was often very slow and the author could have made it happen a little earlier and explored the relationship a little deeper.

Managed, while part of a series, can most definitely be read as a standalone story. this book is everything I expected and a little more,it's amazing .It is fun, romantic, sexy, has a complicated good guy but adorable and hilaria girl. This book was just what I needed at the time.
