Lorenzo Gambini is bored. So fucking bored. Most people either annoy him or avoid him, afraid to face him. Figuratively. Literally. With his face partially disfigured, scarred, he looks every bit the monster the stories make him out to be: the notorious menace they call Scar. They say he's a sociopath. Maybe he's a psychopath. Whatever path he's on, people tend to stay far away from it.
Until one day, a young woman bumps right into him--a woman just as fed up with life, but for much different reasons. With a Scarlet Letter inked on her wrist and secrets buried deep in her soul, Morgan Myers is running from something... or maybe somebody. Lorenzo isn't quite sure.
You can bet your ass he's going to figure it out, though.

I just loved the story of Lorenzo. J.M. darhower Once again did a fantastic job with this book in delivering a perfect non-traditional romance with a mystery lurking around the story.The author's writing is fantastic, fast and can hold my attention page by page.
For those who have read the series Monster in His Eyes are already familiar with Lorenzo, or Scars as he is known. But if you haven't read it, there's no problem because we only had a glimpse of what we could expect from this guy.It is here that we know he's finally got his story. And he really got into my top favorites anti heroes after I met him.He's not a good guy. On the contrary, he is a psychopath who has no shame or remorse for ending the lives of those who cross his path.But it's a crazy I just see me like it more and more to each page, so yes he is one of my favorite bad guy .
The characters were absolutely fantastic! Morgan is smart and Is running from someone or something and in the middle of its path ends crossing with lorenzo. She has her own opinion and she doesn't afraid to say what she thinks, much less afraid of Lorenzo.Lorenzo It's dangerous, crazy, you try not to approach people for as a weakness. Love your brother, and after meeting Morgan cannot not be affected by this mysterious girl.
This book is a mystery, one that I tried every page unravel and finally when the revelation came and all I could think was: didn't see that one coming.But I should know that J.M. Darhower was going to find a way to surprise me, she always does and I love it in their books.
Menace has all the elements I like in these books: is dark, addictive, with fantastic characters, mystery, twists and turns and isn't your typical romance.
I can't wait for the sequel of this story. I need the second book now, I need to know what else the author recently for Morgan and Lorenzo.

Adorei a história de Lorenzo. J.M. darhower, mais uma vez, fez um trabalho fantástico com este livro ao nos entregar um romance nada tradicional com um mistério à espreita em torno da história. A escrita do autor é fantástica, rápida e prendeu minha atenção a cada página .
Para quem leu a série Monster in His Eyes já está familiarizada com Lorenzo, ou Scars , como é conhecido. Mas se você ainda não leu, não tem nenhum problema, porque só tivemos um vislumbre do que poderÃamos esperar dele.É aqui que nós finalmente temos a sua história. E depois de conhecer um pouco mais dele posso dizer que ele realmente entrou em meus favoritos top anti heróis . Ele não é um bom rapaz. Pelo contrário, ele é um psicopata que não tem vergonha ou remorso por acabar com a vida das pessoas que cruzam seu caminho. Mas é um louco que eu me vi apegada a cada página que lia , mais e mais .
Os personagens aqui são absolutamente fantásticos! Morgan é inteligente e está fugindo de alguém ou algo e no meio do seu caminho acaba cruzando com ninguém menos que Lorenzo . Ela tem sua própria opinião e ela não está com medo de dizer o que ela pensa, muito menos medo de Lorenzo. Lorenzo , bem eu já disse que ele é um psicopata , um louco que mantém todos no comprimento do braço para que eles na se tornem uma fraqueza no futuro ou . Ama o seu irmão e depois de conhecer Morgan não consegue se manter afastado dessa garota misteriosa.
Há um mistério rondando esse livro , um que eu tentei cada página desvendar e finalmente quando a revelação chegou eu só conseguia pensar era: não esperava por essa. Mas sei que J.M. Darhower ia encontrar uma maneira de me surpreender, ela sempre faz e eu amo isso em seus livros.
Menace tem todos os elementos que eu gosto nestes livros: é dark, viciante, com personagens fantásticos, mistério, reviravoltas e um romance que de convencional não tem nada .
Depois de terminar esse primeiro livro mal posso esperar pelo próximo. Eu preciso do segundo livro agora para poder descobrir o que mais a autora reserva para Morgan e Lorenzo .
