Bound by Vengeance is the fifth book in the series Born in Blood and here are presented the Los Angeles mafia and the completely new and unknown characters so I started reading without knowing what to expect.

The protagonists of this Book Are Cara and Growl. She's a Princess of a high-class families of Los Angeles and he the more efficient killer and feared that mob.She's engaged, and Growl knows she isn't something he can have.Until one night after the betrayal of his father for the mob boss is discovered, all that changes.Suddenly, her life is turned upside down. She is given as a prize to Growl, or rather, as a punishment for her.Estranged from his sister and mother, man now is in the hands of more efficient mafia hit. Will she be able to help your family? Will she survive the Growl?

I liked some aspects of the book, others not so much.Like the development of the relationship of the protagonists. I like to see them developing feelings in a situation unlikely.Cara for me was ok, not the best of that series, because although I appreciate your perseverance for his freedom and try to save the life of his mother and Sister, she is constantly worrying about what his mother and sister would think annoyed me too.The high point of that book for me was definitely Growl. He's a killer, but knowing your past and see what became of him made me want to get into the book and hold it.I loved watching him fall in love with Guy and show another side of him, a sweet side, and worried. I really loved him.

The conflicts here and the link with the mafia of New York were treated superficially and barely worked. The conflicts were solved quickly and in my vision so unrealistic. And the ending was abruto and deserved to be better worked.Although this book overall I give a 3 stars, Growl really won and for that I give a little more.

Bound by Vengeance in general is a good book, far from being the best of the series, but it was a quick read.

Bound by Vengeance é o quinto livro da série Born in Blood Máfia e aqui somos apresentados a máfia de Los Angeles e a personagens totalmente novos e desconhecidos por isso comecei a leitura sem saber o que esperar .

Os Protagonistas desse livro São Cara e Growl. Ela uma das princesas de uma das famílias de alta classe de Los Angeles e ele o assassino mais eficiente  e temido dessa máfia.  Ela está noiva , e Growl sabe que ela não é algo que ele pode ter .Até que uma noite após a traição do seu pai para o chefe da máfia é descoberta ,tudo isso muda.De repente, a vida dela é virada de cabeça para baixo . Ela é dada como prêmio a Growl , ou melhor dizendo , como uma punição para ela .Afastada da sua irmã e mãe , cara agora está nas mãos do mais eficiente assassino da máfia . Será que ela vai conseguir ajudar sua família ? Será que ela vai sobreviver a Growl?

Eu gostei de alguns aspectos desse livro , já outros nem tanto . Gostei do desenvolvimento do relacionamento dos protagonistas .Gostei ver eles desenvolvendo sentimentos em uma situação improvável .

 . Cara pra mim foi uma mocinha ok , não a melhor dessa série , pois embora eu gostei de sua perseverança para sua liberdade e tentar salvar a vida de sua mãe e Irmã , ela estar constante ligando  para o que sua mãe e irmã iriam pensar  me irritou muito .

O ponto alto desse livro definitivamente pra mim foi Growl .  Ele é um assassino , mas conhecer seu passado e ver o que ele se tornou me fez querer entrar no livro e abraçar ele . Adorei ver  ele se apaixonar por   Cara e mostrar outro lado dele , um lado doce , protetor e preocupado. Eu realmente amei ele .

Os conflitos aqui e a ligação com a máfia de Nova York foram tratadas de forma superficial e mal trabalhadas . Os conflitos se resolveram rapidamente e na minha visão de forma irrealista . E o final foi abruto e merecia ser melhor trabalhado .

 Embora essa livro no geral eu daria umas 3 estrelas , Growl realmente me ganhou e por ele eu dou 4 estrelas .

Bound by Vengeance no geral é um livro bom , longe de ser o melhor da série , mas que foi uma leitura rápida e gostosa .
