Resenha/Review 

Finalmente aqui temos a história de Maxon, um personagem que sempre apareceu nos livros anteriores da série como o melhor amigo dos personagens . Lá conhecemos um pouco dele e sua lealdade a esses personagens, mas eu sabia que havia muito mais dele do que era mostrado e que assim como Jace e Ian , Maxom tinha um passado difícil é um pouco escuro.Aqui a autora entrega mais uma vez uma ótima história daquelas que tem um pouco de tudo :   tem drama, romance de segunda chance um suspense para deixar a história intrigante até às últimas paginas .

Maxon e Izzy's tem um passado. Ambos eram apaixonado um pelo outro apesar de virem de lados opostos da cidade , até o dia que Maxon fez algo que levou Izzy's ir embora sem olhar para trás , porém agora tantos anos depois ambos estão frente a frente novamente e é claro que os sentimentos que um dia tiveram um pelo outro ainda estão lá , mas Izzy's já foi machucada uma vez e não quer que isso aconteça novamente .

Tanto Maxon quanto  Izzy's são personagens carismáticos e embora eu gostei mais dela do que dele nesse livro, é possível ver e acreditar que esses dois ainda se amam. Eu gostei de Maxon , não me entenda mal, mas honestamente eu não consigo achar aceitável as atitudes que ele teve lá no passado ,tenho que culpar a adolescência e inseguranças da idade a suas atitudes . Mas o Maxon do presente eu adoro , foi impossível ver ele lutando pelo amor de Izzy's .  E Izzy's foi uma personagem que eu admirei  por tudo que ela passou , e pelo seu amor a seus dois adoráveis filhos . Ela é uma daquelas heroínas forte , decidida e que ganhou minha admiração a sua dedicação à seu filho .

Talvez esse livro chegou muito perto de casa pra mim e vendo izzy e seu filho eu vejo a minha mãe e a mim mesmo . Como alguém que nasceu com o mesmo problema de Izzy ( com sequelas infinitamente menores ) , ao ler as cenas de ambos passa um filme pela minha  cabeça de tudo que eu passei por conta disso e acho que a autora sobre relatar perfeitamente a realidade da situação , os medos,  inseguranças , mas também a esperança . E por esse motivo eu não consigo deixar de amar Izzy e seu filho e admira-los .

Pieces of us é o terceiro livro da série Confessions of the Heart e é o meu favorito dessa série . Um livro com meu tipo preferido de história : segundas chances , e foi bom ver esses 

personagem conseguindo seus felizes para sempre.

Finally here is the story of Maxon, a character who has always appeared in the previous books of the series as the best friend of the characters.  There we knew a little of him and his loyalty to these characters, but I knew that there was much more of him than was shown and that just as Jace and Ian, Maxom had a difficult past is a little dark.Here the author once again delivers a great story of those who have a little bit of everything: have drama, second chance romance a suspense to make the story intriguing to the last pages.

Maxon and Izzy's have a past together.  Both were passionate about each other despite coming from opposite sides of the city, until the day Maxon did something that drove Izzy's away without looking back, but now so many years later both are face to face again and it is clear that the feelings that  one day they had one for the other are still there, but Izzy's already been hurt once and does not want that to happen again.

Both Maxon and Izzy's are charismatic characters and although I liked her more than him in this book, it is possible to see and believe that these two still love each other.  I liked Maxon, do not get me wrong, but honestly I can not find acceptable the attitudes he had there in the past, I have to blame adolescence and insecurities of the age for their attitudes.But the  Maxon now I love, it was impossible to see him fighting for Izzy's love.  And Izzy's was a character I admired for everything she went through, and for her love for her two lovely children.  She is one of those strong, determined heroines who won my admiration for her dedication to her son.

Maybe this book came very close to home to me and seeing izzy and his son I see my mother and myself.  As someone who was born with the same problem of Izzy (with infinitely smaller sequels), when reading the scenes of both passes a movie through my head of everything I went through because of this and I think the author about perfectly reporting the reality of the situation,  fears, insecurities, but also hope.  And for this reason I can not help but love Izzy and his son and admire them.

Pieces of us is the third book in the series Confessions of the Heart and is my favorite in this series.  A book with my favorite type of story: Second chances, and it was good to see these characters get their happy ones forever.
