Eu adoro essa série e me deu um sentimento agridoce ao ler essa história , afinal acho que a autora criou um universo incrível que mostra amizade, romance e histórias cativantes e com a História de Hunter chegou a hora de se despedir dessa turma. E vale lembrar que todos os livros dessa série são ótimos , cada livro é independente e pode ser livro sozinhos.

Hunter é um personagem que eu estava ansiosa esperando sua história desde que ele foi introduzido. Ao longo dos livros vimos pessoas próximas a ele machucando seus entes queridos e amigos e podemos ver como isso abalou ele . E nesse livro fica claro que ele se culpa por não ter visto os sinais antes.  Ele é meu personagem masculino favorito dessa série: ele é protetor, carinhoso com aqueles que ama .

A infância de Piper foi marcada por uma imensa tragédia,onde sua amiga desapareceu e isso a mudou de alguma forma. Ela volta a ilha Anchor com os planos de colocar seu sonho / planos  que fez junto com sua melhor amiga em pratica e assim restaurar a pousada, e para isso traz consigo seu fiel companheiro é enorme cachorro como companhia. Eu adorei ver os momentos dela com o cachorro, ele trouxe momentos fofos , divertidos para a história cada vez que ele aparecia. Eu amei a Pipper, ela é determinada, corajosa e embora o que tenha acontecido tenha mudado e marcado ela , ela está tentando honrar a memória da amiga de uma maneira doce .

Hunter e Pipper criam uma conexão doce de ler , afinal ambos entendem o sentimento de culpa que carregam consigo. E embora a atração deles está lá desde o primeiro encontro , eu gostei que primeiro eles criaram uma cumplicidade e amizade antes de se envolverem.  A relação deles fez eles se abrirem ao amor, a criar laços e a se abrir. 

Assim como os outros livros dessa série, aqui além do romance tem um mistério acontecendo na vida de Pipper que me fez ficar tentando adivinhando quem estaria por traz, indo e voltando em personagens a cada hora que um movimento era feito por alguém, apesar de eu estar certa desde a minha primeira suspeita .

Beneath The Wreckage é o último livro dessa série , e traz uma história refrescante onde não tem drama surgindo do nada para complicar a vida dos personagens , é isso é uma das coisas que me faz gostar tanto das história dessa autora. Para quem gosta de uma  história de amor entre dois cativante de acompanhar com um toque de suspense , acho que essa história é uma boa pedida .

I love this series and it gave me a bittersweet feeling when reading this story, after all I think the author created an amazing universe that shows friendship, romance and captivating stories and with the Story of Hunter it's time to say goodbye to this group.  And remember that all the books in this series are great, each book is independent and can be a book on its own.

Hunter is a character I've been looking forward to waiting for his story since he was introduced.  Throughout the books we have seen people close to him hurting their loved ones and friends and we can see how this shook him up.  And in this book it is clear that he blames himself for not having seen the signs before.  He's my favorite male character from this series: he's protective, affectionate to those he loves.

Piper's childhood was marked by a huge tragedy, where her friend disappeared and that changed her somehow.  She returns to Anchor Island with plans to put her dream/plans she made with her best friend into practice and thus restore the inn, and for that she brings her faithful companion, a huge dog for company.I loved seeing her moments with the dog, he brought cute, fun moments to the story every time he showed up.  I loved Pipper, she is determined, brave and although what happened changed and marked her, she is trying to honor her friend's memory in a sweet way.

Hunter and Pipper create a sweet connection to read, after all they both understand the feeling of guilt they carry with them.  And although their attraction has been there since the first meeting, I liked that they first created a complicity and friendship before getting involved.  Their relationship made them open up to love, bond and open up.

Like the other books in this series, here in addition to the novel there is a mystery happening in Pipper's life that made me keep guessing who was behind it, going back and forth in characters every time a move was made by someone, despite me. to be right from my first suspicion lol.

Beneath The Wreckage is the last book in this series, and it brings a refreshing story where there's no drama coming out of nowhere to complicate the characters' lives, and that's one of the things that makes me like this author's stories so much.  For those who like a captivating love story between two to accompany with a touch of suspense, I think this story is a good choice.
